Extraordinary announcement by CIG Pannónia Life Insurance Plc. on a new trade license of CIG Pannónia First Hungarian General Insurance Company Ltd., a company belonging to its circle of interest

CIG Pannónia Life Insurance Plc. (registered seat: H-1033 Budapest, Flórián tér 1.; company registry number: Cg.01-10-045857; hereinafter: the “Company”) hereby notifies its Esteemed Shareholders and capital market players that on the basis of the resolution adopted by the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority it is now possible for the Company’s exclusively-owned subsidiary, CIG Pannónia First Hungarian General Insurance Company Ltd. (hereinafter: the “General Insurance Company”), to deal also directly with claim settlement in addition to offering insurance products.

On the basis of the Supervisory Authority’s resolution and pursuant to the act on compulsory motor third party liability insurance, it may deal also with the settlement of claims caused in the course of the operation of motor vehicles exempted from the obligation of compulsory motor third party liability insurance by the person considered as the minister in charge of the asset management, deemed as an activity directly associated with the insurance products.
